The Connection Point Between the Dipper and the Tool

On a mini excavator, every minute spent wrestling with pins and cotter pins is a minute the machine isn't moving dirt. This semi-automatic quick hitch replaces the traditional pin-on connection. The operator stays in the cab: the tool locks via gravity, with no manual intervention during attachment. Detachment remains a deliberate action, requiring a precise motion to trip the mechanism.

A Mechanical Link, Not a Comfort Accessory

This component proves its worth on sites where you're constantly swapping tools: switching from a cleaning bucket to an auger, swapping a hydraulic breaker for a trenching bucket. The sequence is three steps: unclip the tool on the ground, present the new tool, let the device close itself. After installation, check for residual play in the pin bearings. Excessive play wears out the bushings on your attachments prematurely.
